Baby Foods

Baby Foods

Before introducing foods to your sweet angel its better to consult first to their pedia doctor to know if you can able to give food to your baby or if your sweet angel doesn't have any food allergy.

You can also observe, if your baby show interest to a food that is also another way to know if your baby is ready for food. Usually it starts during 6months but in my experienced my baby start showing his interest to food when he reached his five months old.

At first I just give him fruit juices. Then after a month I give cereal. I really enjoy this stages because I make experiment for my babies foods.

Recipe for Baby Foods:
(I have my own recipe for my litte angle. My baby really loves apple and banana so every time I prepare a meal I make sure there is apple or banana. )

I named it as Applecabana

1. Peel, core and cut apple into slices/chunks
2. Place slices or chunks into a pan with just enough water to slightly cover apples and boil/steam until tender; be sure to check on the water level and stir
3. Apples may be mashed with banana and breast milk to become smooth apple banana sauce.

Thats it you can have applecabana for your baby it is very nutritious because of apple, banana and breastmilk combination. You can serve applecabana with apple juice that you get from apple extract.

Another is Bananas

1. Ripe Banana - Bananas do not need to be cooked
2. Breast Milk or Milk is needed
3. Peel and cut a ripe banana into small dices
4. Mash with a scrambled egg

Thats it you can have your bananas you can served this with milk.

There are lots of cooking books when comes of baby foods the important here is you know how to add the favorite foods of your baby to the food you prepare for them to make them enjoy eating and always think for the nutrients they can get from the food you served for them.

Breastmilk vs Milk formula

What is the different's of breast milk and milk formula?

In milk formula you can achieve the body you wish for your baby but in breast milk its not, but it makes your baby in body good shape but not as an obese like in milk formula.

Milk formula can give your baby a nutrients that it is needed but not like in breastfeeding it has complete nutrients plus a colostrum that cannot be found in milk formula.

The colostrum of a breast milk can help your babies to keep stay away from cough, colds and flu upto 1 year old and it also help mothers to be physically and mentally fit after giving birth and breast feeding mothers never feel the post postpartum syndrome.

Breast milk can help mothers to have a good night sleep not like in milk formula the mother oblige to be wake up every 4hrs just to fix a milk for their babies.

Although breastfeeding mothers have a good night they can still give a milk to their babies honestly breastfeeding babies has no limit when they want a milk but in milk formula you cannot exceed the milk limit that your pediatric doctor prescribed.

Some babies has a lactose intolerance that the mother need to be aware regarding it or else it will leads to your babies sick. If the baby has lactose intolerance the milk formula they need is a free lactose milk. While in breast milk it never cause any lactose intolerance and the breast milk is the most safest milk for babies.

The breast milk is good for babies up to 2 years old but if a mother decided to go back to work they can extract their breast milk and store it to refrigerator and its good up to 8hrs or it depends to your pediatric prescribed.

Some formula milk has a strong formulation that can be cause a mouth blister to your babies the best solution I already did regarding this is after I give a milk formula to my baby I give also a drinking water and clean the mouth and tongue by a soft cotton.  Honestly my 3rd baby got a blister mouth because of milk formula so I seek for his pedia doctor advice and he was prescribed by a daktarin by putting a small amount of daktarin to his pacifier and let my baby suck it. Daktarin is good because after 2days the blister was already healed. Because of that situation I switch to breast milk and happy to tell you that I'am well satisfied for the benefits that me and my baby get from breast milk and also breast milk give me and my baby a good bonding.

Pregnancy

How to know if you're pregnant?

There are many ways how to detect that you are pregnant.

But in my experienced I use pregnancy test that has 99.9% accuracy after a month I missed my period. For me pregnancy test is the most cheapest but effective way how to detect pregnancy.

How to have a healthy pregnancy?

After I detect that I was pregnant I visit right away a center near our place to obtain a personal ob-gyne doctor who can take good care of me during my pregnancy until my labor day.

My personal ob-gyne prescribe me a ferrous sulfate from the start upto 9months to avoid being anemic and ob-max as my vitamins when im in 5-9months of my pregnancy.

Lots of ob-gyne doctors suggest to avoid using cigarettes and alcoholic drinks for a pregnant woman to avoid health problems to a baby or to avoid physical deformation during the development stage.

During 2-4months of pregnancy you cant avoid food cravings like me during that pregnancy stage I really love to eat but my ob-gyne advice me to avoid eating too much fatty and salty foods to avoid edema and those foods that can cause allergy because almost all of the medicines are very dangerous to take by a pregnant woman.

I remember during my pregnancy the only medicine that I take and prescribed by my ob-gyne are biogesic for fever, and amoxicillin or cefalexin in my urinary tract infection. When I got cough and colds during my pregnancy my ob just advice me to take lots of water and eat lots of fruits that is good source for vitamin c.

During my 4months my ob gave me a vaccination for tetanus toxoid to secure me and my baby against pregnancy infections.

In my 6months I under go ultra sound to verify the gender of my baby.

When I reach the 8months of my pregnancy I walked everyday as my exercise many people suggest me to do it and it is also suggested by my ob-gyne to have easy labor. In my 8months also it is a good time to buy things for baby.

Buying baby needs have lots of consideration to make your baby comfortable.
1. The dress of a baby must be cotton so it can gives your baby a comfortable sleep.
2. Before buying feeding bottle think first if you like to give your baby a breast milk or milk formula.
3. The crib. What type of crib you would like to use for your baby?
4. The room environment for your babies room.
5. Type of diaper you would like to use for your baby.
Many more things you should consider when comes to your babies need.

In 9months just stay at home only because this is your waiting moment for your sweet angel to come.
